The school building in the municipality of Gempen was designed by Messrs. Erni + Gysel Architekten and inaugurated in 1977. In the past, the school has been renovated several times in partial areas as required. The renovation work conducted by Confirm included the complete renewal of the roof cladding, including the pollutant remediation of harmful substances, the partial renewal of the windows and the entrances, as well as the total renovation of the sanitary facilities.

The challenges of this comparatively small building construction assignment were primarily the cost ceiling and the limited time window, which could be met to the same schedule.
