There is great potential in optimizing the work processes on the construction site. In order to tap this potential, the corresponding information for the building construction works should already be taken into consideration in the planning. Digital building models can already be optimized at the planning stage with the building construction contractors.
In our Info point at SWISSBAU 2022 Trade Fair in Basel, Switzerland, we will demonstrate how the collaborative process on the construction site can be improved, and a high level of transparency be created using model-based construction process planning and logistics with the aid of the BIM Method.
The innovation here lies in integrating not only the shell construction, but also the planning of the excavation and construction logistics into the 4D construction management facility, and linking these with the 3D components. Time sequences for materials and resources can thus be graphically displayed, and the construction progress be simulated at any time.
